Hi everyone I haven't posted for a few months, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid and oesteoarthritis in march, so as well as losing my health I have also lost my job as being ill Heath retired, and now I being evicted
And the council say that there are no council properties left, on top of that my cat was hit by a car and I had to put her down. This year has been really difficult, but the lack of energy and daily pain is really hard to deal with I am a 41 year old but physically feel a lot older, sorry rant over, please tell me I'm not the only one finding it hard
To accept this awful condition, thanks for listening, anna

Why are they evicting you? Surely with your health issues they should find you somewhere?
Really sorry to hear about your little cat.
Do you have family and friends for support? Perhaps there is a support group near you, if you don't. Also what about goi g to CAB for advise about housing? All this is the last thing you need.
Thank you for your lovely message my landlord is evicting me because she wants the house back for her daughter, I have been waiting since April for the council to look at my disability, I have a CAB appointment soon so hopefully they will help me.
My issues do not compare to yours , however I do have the pain and started on Methotrexate about a month ago and am now feeling a Respiratory Infection coming on.
Aww Anna you have made me stop and i really took in what you are saying. First of darling ring the NRAS and see what they can do to help you,eg; showing you where to go and the sort of people who can help you. I am really sorry your in this place and i hope with the help from NRAS you will find a path to go. xxxxxxx
Darling have messaged you with some info hopefully to help you.xxxxx
Oh my, I'm speachless..... when it rains, it pours. You are really having a rough ride. I really feel bad about the situation you find yourself in.
I don't understand how your housing system works, but surely don't take your eviction lying dow. Find a disability advocate to help you. I find it hard to believe that it is legal to evict someone who is disabled. Don't allow your council to harrass you, seek advice from an advocate. Then make a complaint to your government elected official ( called MP or an MLA in Canada. I'm sure you have an equivalent) These elected officials work for you.
Anyways, a couple of years ago, my elderly, sickly parents were getting evicted from social housing. Once I got our MP's office involved, all eviction notices stopped. It is illegal to evict the disabled or elderly people without "just cause" . I'm sure it is illegal in your country too.
