Biologics appointment: Well folks just back from my... - NRAS
Biologics appointment
At last. Hope it will work for you. These 4 weeks are going to feel so long but I least something is happening now. Farm
I saw my rheumy nurse last Monday and she has just applied for funding for the same drug as well, should hear this week, next week if they OK it, I've done the bloods,x ray, tb nurse too, all good, I'm on methtrexate and leftmide at the moment, but side effects and elevated liver tests are showing that they are not working, so hopefully I too will be starting the same drugs the same time as you I can't wait, so fed up with this disease, keep me in the loop how things. go for you , Jo x
Enbrel is my Magic Potion. I felt the benefits of it the next day and was in remission at my first 12 week appointment and still am three and a half years later. No side effects at all. I do take it out of the fridge for at least an hour before I'm going to inject it ( I use a syringe and not the pen). I use to inject into my leg but changed to my tum about a year ago and it doesn't sting so much. Sometimes it doesn't sting at all, but if it does its worth a few seconds of discomfort for being virtually pain free. Hope you both get the same results as me.xxxx
Fabulous news!! I started Humira 4 months ago and have the old me back! The wait for first delivery seemed so long but when it came it was like Chtistmas morning! I cried, it was the first day of the rest of my life. I'm really so pleased for you and hope you will now live a pain free life!!
All the best
