Hi beeper (Brian) me too. Always up around 6 or 7. Can't get out the work habit. Mornings like these it great to see the sun come up and start a new day even if we are in pain. Hope your day is sunny too.

But is it lovely & sunny.? It is here in the North East of England. Ive been awake since 5.30 greeted by my 2yr old great grand daughter now playing "tents" with her 10yr old uncle. Bedlum till I have to get up and make breakfast im making the most of it - times I wont get back. They grow so quickly. Helps overlook the pain.

Don't say sorry!! Share your feelings. Everyone here understands and has down days too. Then there are better days too. Everyone's here for each other xxx

Good day Ruby, sorry your suffering. I'm normally up between 5-6 after restless night.

The down side is I have a nap during the day but I'm normally asleep by 8pm just fatigued.Gone are the days of late night partying.Hope your painkillers have kicked in mine have I took them at 4am.

Regards Mike

Exactly describes how my hubby is every day. I feel a bit better in a weird way to know that this is poss "norm" day to day for others. At least i can watch my gardening and house programmes when hubby goes to bed!! Every cloud!! Xx

It,s my understanding they are to help protect your bones if you are on repeat steroids.xx

Remember to check whether you need to keep taking them. Having been on long-term steroids I was on them for five years, then after a good bone scan was told I could stop. Really pleased with that, one less pill and a nuisance one.

Hello Ruby,I'm same as you, under 7 stone, scared to look at myself I'm so thin,on oral steroids(8months) also bad osteoporosis, waiting to go to osteo clinic, maybe get yearly infusion instead of weekly tablet.Steroids great for pain, but real bad for our bones, gradually being cut down by doc, hope they can sort my weak bones out, as can then maybe get my collapsed vertebrae operated on,some kind of surgical cement to even spine up,what fun!! hope you feel better soon, and keep eating as much as your little tum can handle.xx

Oh and its not just if you are on steroids. I am not. Its for bone health generally I think. I have low bone density and Pena osteoarthritis.
