If you have very little to no  pain should you still get the cortizon shot?

What about movement esp out to the side and up.

I had rotator cuff tendonitis before my RD was diagnosed so not really sure if it was that or the first signs of RD.. 

Anyway, back then I had a few shots of steroid (not sure which type) into both shoulders. I've since been referred to physio and was shown some ways to reduce the pain that work most of the time, but sometimes when they are hurting badly I wish I could get the shots again!
