Steroid injections

Hello I'm new here but not new to this chronic pain I've got 2 herniated disc in my neck severe bursitis in my right shoulder arthritis in my lower back carpal tunnel and high blood pressure. My concern today is the steroid injection yo my right shoulder today is so so painful when will it stop! Anyone know?

Don't quite understand you. Have you had a steroid injection into your shoulder or waiting for one?

I haven't had a steroid injection for a long time now. What I do remember is that the pain increased for up to 36 hours before the relief kicked in. Hopefully it won't be too long for you. Sorry that I can't be more helpful. All the very best.

I had a steroid injection in my hip yesterday. It was extremely painful all night, in fact worse than it was at the start, and today it's a bit better especially with pain relief. It's fairly common to have a flare up before the inflammation dies down when it all kicks in. I hope by now it's feeling a bit better.
