Yes.. Have been for a while now, can't wait to see my nurse in 10 days. I would have hoped the Sulfasalazine would have kicked in by now. Everything hurts! Mother Nature also not playing nicely either... Uggghhh

Chin up chook ;)

For months. ..just got diagnosed about two weeks ago. ...no referral to rheumatologist. Rheumatoid count over 100....I have felt BLARGH since I moved into extended stay, trying to get it together to get to CA, where a family member was holding my mother against her will. She wasn't allowed any contact with anyone, fell, spent night on floor untreated blood clot traveled to her heart and killed her the day after I got my plane ticket. Been feeling like that since. Gained 30 lbs., dieting isn't working, is rapid weight gain part of RA?

Stress is horrific , had to move, shoulders and knees have been killing me for a month now since the day after the move. I'm so new to this.

Don't know if stress is what brought on feeling like just sick, in pain and BLARGH

Mary, that's awful, I'm so sorry.

I'm sure stress can be a trigger. My symptoms started just after my dad's death, too...

My symptoms started while I was trying to stop my elderly, insane mother, from dragging my dying father, on a bus throughout Vancouver looking for a miracle cure for his end stage cancer.

I do believe stress is what caused my RA.

Take care,

Sue

How horrific, I'm speachless at how your mom was treated...I'm so sorry.

Do you think all the stress you have suffered is the "trigger" of your RA?

Sending you gentle hugs and wishing you peace

Sending everyone who feels rubbish a huge load of love and hope that things improve. I know it doesn't change how you feel but it's all I can think of :) might be worth speaking to Ra nurses too if things don't improve as it's not fair to feel rubbish and you deserve support x

Same. I stopped mtx because of side effects and so I've had nothing for weeks. I'm usually not in too much pain unless I try to keep my knees bent for too long and then straightening is painful and I get pain in my small toes and fingers now and then but it's just the waiting and hoping they'll find something that'll work and not react so badly this time. Sigh. :(

Katheryn, please contact your Rheumy nurse. Stopping your MTX will of course let all your symptoms return. If you've been left unmedicated chase your team up, it's not fair to leave you so long. x

Thankfully, not today - but I've been there. I hope tomorrow is a better day.
