A bit high, but not alarming.

Thank.s for that,do you know what would be classed as high.My doctor used to go by the esr levels but he now goes by the crp which he said they like it to be five but so far has done nothing about it.

Anything over 5 is considered to be above average. But some people have naturally higher readings so what's normal for me may not be normal for you. And if you have really bad infection It can rise into 100's, so in the 20's is not alarming.

Docs should look at the changes over time and physical symptoms to come to decisions. It's not a recipe book in that if reading is X, then do Y. But if you've got joint pain, swelling etc then ask what he or she intends to do!

20 is high should be under 3 , but mine have been up to 160 at points now it's down to 65 , my consultant just ups the steroids and tells me that it should go down once I start the biologicals.
