Fracture of pin in wrist fusion

Just wondering if anyone has experienced a fracture in their pin in wrist fusion. I have had an xray taken of my wrist yesterday which shows this. The operation was done about ten years ago. I have been putting a lot of pressure on it as I pull or push using this hand to get up to a standing position. It has been pushed to one side and a lump has appeared and I not been able to use it for some time. Thanks.

Timmy, that sounds so painful. The pin must have backed out of the bone, are you going to have the pin removed?

One of my screws tried to back out when I had my left wrist fused so I had to wear a brace for an extra 2 months. I can still feel the top of the screw through my skin but it doesn't hurt.
