How will I function with no treatment. I am a nurse at elementary school and I don't want to quit but it's been two weeks and past 5 days has been pain constant with morning and and night worse. My hands ache bad an feet hurt

See if you can get an appointment with your rheumatologist fairly urgently and ask them that question - what next. It is true that a lot of the DMARDs can negatively affect your liver, but thats not true with biologics - they would be highly unlikely to affect your liver badly. So that would be what I would be asking about next, and as quickly as possible as the process of approval does take time - you want to get it started as soon as possible.
