Look at All Clear. You can apply online and I've never failed to arrange full cover. Clemmie

Just tell whoever you insure with. It's never a problem and shouldn't be any excess. If there is go somewhere else

I also used All Clear - I had 4 bouts of pericarditis 2 years ago and was hospitalised each time and have a medicated skin condition as well as RA and they still covered me for worldwide travel including the USA for a year for £170.

Staysure & Saga both able to give reasonable quotes for us, my wife has a number of health issues and I have RA.

I used to use Staysure who always covered me for the RA without any added extra premiums. Because I need world wide insurance this year and Staysure wanted separate insurance for the USA, I switched to Avanti on line which is run by All Clear Insurance Services Ltd. It cost me a lot less than Staysure quoted to cover me for pre existing medical conditions in addition to the RA. I booked annual multi trip insurance with them. LavendarLady

The NRAS Helpline has a list of insurers that have been recommended to us by our Members - if you struggle to find travel insurance do give them a ring (free phone) 0800 298 7650.
