Does anyone else have a burning sensation in feet and ankles? Mine feel as though they are on fire. I inject 17.5 mlMTX
Yes my feet feel like there on fire. I sleep with them out the bed, they throb too. No idea what it is . Be great if someone knows. I'm not on any meds ,I rather manage without.
Keep smiling I'm in the uk
I have that too and my feet are very dry. If my feet are too got I rub them with moisturiser before bedtime and it helps cool them down. This is as well as keeping the temperature down in the bedroom and my feet off the duvet! I'm not sure why though!!
Hi there YES my feet drive me crazy with burning. I have both fibro and ra, I think it is the ra that causes it.wishing you well.
Thank you all for the replies. At least I am not the only one! It usually wears off a bit in the daytime but is very bad first thing in the morning and at night.
I also have terrible itching quite often on my shoulder blades, just out of reach. My husband rubs antiseptic cream on the itch which helps a bit.
My feet burn all day every day, my hands are nearly as bad too. So not fair.
My hands are very painful but not so"burney"as my feet. I suppose it is the methotrexate that causes it but although I have been on MTX for a few years, the burning sensation is fairly recent.
I'm not on that pill but I thought my hands we're being placed under boiling hot water. This went on for weeks I think the gabapentin helped that was a strange feeling. I would just smash my hands into ice water also my feet did this right before I was diagnosed in February.
I have this today in my feet both of them and both hands they are burning! Currently I am only on Sulfasine and Celebrex I am waiting for my new meds very strange feeling
