Cannot see any reason why you should apply, it's got people who have problems with mobility . As you have great difficulty walking it's worth trying. The only problem will be proving it may last more than 3 months or long term which I think but not sure is one of the things they look for. Would be worth getting the form as I believe there are lots of tips and advice on there and getting a letter of support from whoever is doing your treatment, good luck x

Omg that should have read "no reasons you should not apply ! It's for people with limited mobility. " Apologies for the typo xxx

Anyone can apply, it is the local council who administers the scheme although you can do the application form online and the send evidence after. The lady did say that if you received the higher levels of DLA or PIP it was easier for them but I do not get them and saw the lady at the council who accepted my application and now have a badge. She could see by my movement that I was having problems. I think one of the main things is how long it is going to last. S

Hi-

I was told I had this for well over a year.

I had chronic pain in the soles of my feet around the arch area. This developed into swollen ankles.

I would defiantly ask for a specific blood test..

I am HLA B27 positive. This means after years of sciatica /back problems/planta fac/chronic pain, I had artritis all along! (Sero negative inflammatory / anklosing spondilitus.)

I had ultra sound on my feet/acupuncture/physio... It was my physio that requested these specific blood tests..

Good luck-I hope it is only plantar for your sake, but I just felt it was right to let you know.

Take care
