Hi Lucindajune, you're not alone, there are thousands of us who have been waiting ages for PIP applications!! Have you had an assessment yet? :). I know people who applied for the old DLA and they had decisions back in weeks not months..must be the new process. X

hi its 14 weeks since I had my medical with atos they say its with the assessors' and there is a high volume of people applying this is my first application and its under the new r a rules its just a waiting game and you don't know if you will be awarded .it makes you feel bad about asking for help when you realy need it

ATOS have not pulled out of the PIP contract they will still be doing the PIP Assessment it's the ESA WCA they have decided to pull out of :)

I had mine in Feb after applying in August- heard really quickly the outcome I scored ZERO! I would have been disappointed if I had not met the criteria and that they report was honest and a true reflection of the meeting. But, I am shocked and outraged at the content of the report. I wrote to ATOS on the day of my assessment as when I came out of the meeting and reflected in the content was very concerned at the way the discussion had gone. I am now awaiting a a re - something or other following a telephone call from the DWP. I hold out no hope - if they did not believe me when I completed the application or when I met them face to face - I cannot see how a telephone call can change the outcome. It seems my problem is - how can I work if I am ill? well I work as and when for someone I know. I do not think I could hold down a job with a big employer ! My blue badge is up for renewal and that asked what I scored in an ATOS assessment? huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmfffffffffff that is a big sigh!

what a bad time you have had you can ask them to look at the claim again then go to appeal most people get turned down its very upsetting when you need help and ra makes you feel so ill even people close to us don't understand go.od luck and thanks for your reply

I am still at the 'waiting for assessment' stage. Reading all the above worries me greatly. My husband has already said we will attend the meeting with me as I tend to understate my problems (I'm fine lol).
