www.theoriginalcopperheeler.com - I.e. Copper insoles - has anyone tried these - any success? Or just another scam to fleece the vulnerable?

I think this has been covered a while back am not sure of the many replies. Type Copper soles in the search area and see what comes up.

Thanks, yes, found it after just putting word 'copper' in but nothing very significant reported so far

Heard something, although I think it was popood. Copper in the past was used in bracelets for wrist and ankles, so I suppose you will need to read up on them

Over the years I have discussed this sort of thing, and I have not bothered, that may be my loss,

Try to contact health food shops and also Boots they may help, the copper bracelet may have a placebo effect or may effect electric pulses in the body. If they work for you that will be great, let us all know

Let's put it this way. If these things worked do you not think the NRAS would be recommending them and the NHS would be buying a container load to hand out as a lot cheaper than all the drugs we have to take? Good luck :-)

Yes there was an article here , which said they are not proven not to have any benefit. I think it might be a good idea to ask to see a podiatrist. Mine is amazing he sorted out shoes and special insoles . X

I tried copper bangles once, beyond them making my wrists go green they did absolutely nothing for me at all. xx

Hi Zena

As a podiatrist I would advise you to save your money, buy a large gin or a good book, far more beneficial to your health.

Hmmm, not on Methotrexate then you drinkers!?

On a serious note, if copper heelers are nonsense then it's time they were reported to the ASA as their advert says 'Arthritis; My miracle cure'!

Totally agree with dtech, if something like this worked why would the NHS be spending 10k a year in my Toc infusions. I totally agree too that a large G&T or a good book is better!

Sorry but there is no miracle cure.
