No, I only lost some when I started treatment. It only lasted a few months then settled down. I have heard though that stress can aggravate hair loss and presumably you were concerned or in pain prior to diagnosis ? I would mention it to the docs at your next appointment though. Hope you feeling better very soon xx

If you haven't already been checked you should ask for thyroid checks. As far as I know non drug related hairloss is usually more connected with Lupus than RA and also a symptom of hypothyroidism but all are autoimmune so there is often symptom overlap - and stress, as Allanah says, could play a part too. Hopefully you drugs will improve things for you a lot. RArebird.

I had significant hair loss prior to my diagnosis. Now I am on mtx and hydroxy and hair loss seems to go in spurts. I bought hair care products that are helpful.
