I take 25mg Mtx on a Thursday night. I take 5mg folic acid every morning. If i do not take folic acid the day I take Mtx which day do I miss

You take the folic acid everyday apart from the mtx day. OR as I was once a week not on the mtx day.

Thursday morning, the day you take your mtx. On Friday you can take one as you had Mtx the day before.

Kittykat, I was always told no folic on Methotrexate day (whatever time you take it) but have it every other day. But if you've been told different, check with your rheumy or nurse to be sure. xx

I take Folic acid MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY

I take folic acid every day exept MTX injection day, however I saw my Rheumy last Friday and he has told me to now take it injection day also, because I am not tolerating the the MTX very well and my liver function tests are elevated.

I just take it the day after MTX, one dose, none the rest of the week. People seem to be on very different regimes. xx

Thanks all, I missed it the day I took Mtx this week and felt awful, ulcers and nausea! So I will go back to taking it every day!
