Hi obviously chat with the docs but I got this, when I was in a flare . And it stayed afterwards. HAve you heard if carpal tunnel syndrome, tends to be the swellings in your wrist put pressure on the nerve down the middle of your wrists and causes symptoms like you describe. It was very disconcerting and painful shooting pains when I had it. I also had spinal disc problems which showed up in my hands and wrists too.

The docs can do a test to see if it's that and an apparently simple! Operation to fix it if it's long term problematic. Putting your hands down with the wrists flopping helped me. So have a word with the doc obviously it could be something very different so best to have them looked at , Axx

Hello

Sounds like referred pain caused by nerve damage. To reduce swelling wash hands in cold water,

Manipulate your wrists and fingers, also if there are still any lying around, fill your pockets with horse chestnuts and play with them with the fingers, this keeps the blood circulating and aids in strengthening tendons, etc.

Sometimes you can have problems with wrists, Carpel Tunnel damage this can be operated on, not only can this effects the nerves in wrist and hand but also swelling effects the nerves in the hand.

If the problems are so bad you will need too see the GP He will most probably refer you if need be.

Not being a Doctor my thoughts are only suggestions

Good luck
