I am currently taking Methotrexate 5mg weekly,Hydroychloroquine 200mg each day and Celecoxib 400mg daily is it alright to have the Flu jab?

Your GP would know as he knows what drugs you are taking but I have taken celecoxib for more than 5 years with various other drmads/biologics and have always had my flu jab. The only time that I have to be careful is timing it not to be to close the the infusions that I have had.

Well I had one last year on a similar mix of drugs....but always ask before they jab you just to be sure as we don't know what else is in your medical history that might be relevant. Polly

In my trust area people who are immunosuppressed by taking mtx are on the priority list for flu jabs. I'm on 20mg of mtx and 400mg hydroxy. Check with your surgery, although the nurses should also do a questionnaire about health conditions and medication before they do the jab.

I've had a request from my surgery to come in for a flu jab because of the RA. I'm on MTX, hydroxy and diplofenic. Good question about the timing though, never thought about it but I will call tomorrow and ask.
