Last time I was on several months ago I was feeling sorry for myself due to the pain in both my knees,
After receiving support from other members I have made some changes.
First I changed my GP.My current GP has had training Rheumatology so understands what I am going through.
I have had a total knee replacement on my right on the 23rd December this is the best Christmas present ever.No pain at all in right knee just have to keep up to the exercises.
Hope fully in the not to distant future I will be able to have my left knee replaced

I'm really pleased you managed to change GP - a good one is worth their weight in gold.Sounds like you had a great Xmas present too.Hope your recovery continues to go well.

Hi Janice, I think I am new here since you were here last, especially good to hear your knee is doing well. The exercises are so important!
I had both mine replaced in 2007, just 6 months apart, best thing I ever did. My knees are my best parts! Even pre-op exercises are a big help if your bending is limited now. Good luck! Loret xx
