So sorry you are in pain, mine generally takes bout two days but then I call it my steroid holiday as my symptoms get lessened for about a month, good luck xxxxxx

I had mine on Friday and it started to ease things a little by Sunday, but yesterday I could see that my knees canckles, and hands had started to deflate, everyone is different in how long they last some can last s few months mine normally lasts around two weeks, but like Alanah says its like an holiday :)

Hi hope it works soon ,you can still take pain killers whilst waiting and with the injection, though when it works pain will be so much better x

Siskin- I feel for you. And as the others have said, everyone is different . For me depo, IM never really worked- it eased things a little but never the response that was hoped for. If you are no better witness the week I would contact your rheumatology nurse- they may be able to give you another or as in my case I simply get it IV. Takes an hour for the infusion, a few days to recover from the sudden onslaught of steroids, then happy days.... Remember you are in control of your disease and if it is to working then tell them- there are so many options out there and every single one of us is different

Gentle hugs

Katie x

Ps- I have a dyslexic IPad - keeps changing my words. Meant no better within the week and if it is not working. Also 120 mgs is a small dose - I routinely get 500 which I know is closer to the max

Mine always started to work immediately ... Subtle differences ... Then by two days much much more noticeable. Like my whole body had been released from a massive clamp. Fingers crossed that relief comes soon and you can move and feel generally much much better. ;-) x
