Congratulations on your decision to quit.

I can confirm to you that smoking has a huge impact on sinusitis, with me it took a good 3 months after stopping before my nose cleared.

Keep going, post often and read.

Knowledge is power.

Good luck!

Sinusitis is the worst pain ever, I've suffered since I was 16 with it, had operations everything, mine while not helped by smoking, is due to the bone in my nose is squint thankfully though not had an attack in a while, I guess not smoking & fresh air really does help good luck x

Welcome Gez and well done on quitting, my sister suffers very bad with sinusitis and has been since the summer, she needs to get her 4 wisdom teeth out and that appears to be the root cause of the sinusitis. She also smokes which may be affected it too (didn't realise that and may mention it to her).

I quit cold turkey just over 5 months ago and never looked back, it is a roller coaster of a journey but as time passes it gets easier and easier to deal with triggers and the mental battle.

Wishing you success, strength, focus and determination, read up as much as possible on what happens when you quit. Post as often as you need to, look forward to reading your progress :)
