What an incredible journey over the past 13 weeks.......:)

After 72 hours the nicotine was gone and all I was left to deal with was a mountain of emotions and feelings....Urggg that dreadful feeling of loss !!!

I have considered myself one of the lucky ones that could use Champix and quit with some of the side affects..... Surely the cravings was not that intense BUT the emotions and feelings nearly got me under especially when I went off the Champix after 12 weeks and 10/11 weeks into my quit.

The very nice thing is that I never wanted to smoke again......I have definitely freed myself from this nasty addiction.

Well.... the rediscovery of life was so exiting and still is that I cant wait for the next day to see what's up !! good or bad..!!

The worst of this whole journey is the things they (the clever ones who promotes stop smoking) do not tel us.....

Nice stories of improved smell..... Yes it improved...But do they tell you that it will improve so much that everything stinks...I smell bad to myself...My poor dog is banned from entering the house..... she stinks...The laundry basket...the stove oven...My car ...and not to mention that no 2 visit to bathroom....Did it smell this bad for 38 years .....????:o:o

They mention that you might feel a little bit tired......But never said that you will feel totally ran down and completely without energy...totally deprived of any little bit of power.

They did mention that some people might get heartburn but will last a few days... well the only times I suffered heartburn was when my wife was pregnant and Damn... My baby is 25 years old and now I get heartburn and lasted three months already...

BUT....After all I am smoke free and live a much better life than 3 months ago. Knowledge was my power and been able to predict what the next curve ball will be I survived. Huge help and I will never forget is the kind and informative guidance I received on this forum....Thank you all so much......you played a massive big role in my fairy tale...

I have got 70 % of my energy back and 100% passed the cravings..I am Jubilant and sometimes with the improved smell there is nice things ...The soil after rain.....My wife's very light perfume...Nice !!!!

It is a total rediscovery of myself and my abilities without that false sense of security a cigarette gave me for so many years...I am me again..... that guy I was 38 years ago before I sold myself to the nicodemon and allowed him to rule. (yes we were a mere child but still no excuse).....I have received a second chance in life ..... Oh boy am I gonna use it ......!!!!
