Ok day 3 and I'm eating complete rubbish, I know I should be eating frozen grapes and carrot sticks, but omg this is so hard as it is....I'm a runner (suprisingly I know being a smoker) but now I can't even face taking a run no energy at all...please tell me this does come back?

I'm the same at the moment Aly.........no energy and feeling tired. I think it's because I'm probably trying too hard to keep distract myself from thinking about my quit:confused:. Hopefully things will start falling in to place soon. Like you I've been nibbling at anything I can get my hands on all day but at least I've not smoked. Things can only get better for both of us (I hope).
Enjoy your run Aly. I've been told exercise really helps when you're trying to give up smoking and of course it also helps clear out the lungs. I'm afraid I'm more of a walker than a runner but I am thinking of rejoining the gym as part of my attempt at a new and healthier lifestyle  . Hope I'm not pushing myself too far lol.
Aly, I run as well, and I did as a smoker also. Force yourself to run, I do often and I feel so good about it afterwards, it's so worth it. Sometimes I only do half my regular distance or my speed is way off but I still feel good that I pushed myself to do it. This part is about you, no one else.
Ally .....I can only sympathize ...That dead flat feeling Uuuuurg........!!!!!!!!
I think it is a brain thing.....Your brain is telling you that you can be active again by just taking one cigarette.... The Nicodemon is sly and want you back in his camp...
I took a few Days leave and went to the coast in my first week... I was so flat that I only launched my Kayak once in 5 Days.
Before the quit I launched twice a day for the time I am at the beach.....
That is where I decided on my motto...Don't defend ..Attack.!
We must do what we used to do whilst smoking..... Go on and run Ally !!
And yes....it is getting better and better and better..........................and better !!
