My wife's uncle who I am fond of, had a cold and flue like symptoms.. Hours later he is in intensive care in a coma..

Something called invasive A lung disease - some kind of dormant bacteria that was bought to life by his immune system being shot down.. The doctors are just saying he is a very very poorly man.. Antibiotics not worked as well as they had thought.. Head all over the place as I don't understand the illness and what any likely outcome is !!!!

Not smoked yet, by but my god I'm close ! (Won't do it though)

So sorry regarding your news. Please don't smoke, it won't help I promise. As an ex nurse I would ask the team looking after him for his prognosis and the expected outcome. Hospitals tend to be honest if not too blunt when imparting information. All the best and thinking of you x

Better news today,, lungs are clear and have made him more responsive.. Squeezing hand and trying to open eyes etc,,
