The doctors wrote to me last year about an over 40's health check, I guess I should go in some time. I already know I'm a little bit overweight and my alcohol consumption is little over the recommended, but I have no idea what my blood pressure or cholesterol is.
Thanks Nic, I made the appointment myself because my cousin told me her cholesterol was high and had been given medication. As I had never had mine checked before, curiosity got the better of me. Am glad I went, was buzzing when I came out
I had my cholesterol checked a long time ago, at a gym induction, and they couldn't measure any. I wasn't convinced that the machine was actually working!
That's awesome hellerscatch. I bet the results would be much worse if you were still smoking.
I had a complete blood checkup 2-3 years ago and my cholesterol was less than ideal and atherosclerosis index dangerously close to the upper limit. Mind you, I was 27 year-old at the time and not overweight.
I bet the results will be different in a couple of months when I check it again. I am sure (not) smoking is to blame.
