22 days tomo.....

Well this time three weeks ago I had my last cigarette , and cravings have completely eased of the last few days.

Maybe cause I got a bit of a stinky head cold, which is the first proper one I had for a long long time. I've seriously been over induldging in so much food, but tonight I made myself some homemade carrot, butternut and sweet potato soup. So I shall try a healthier diet tomo..

I just feel bit bad i swapping one thing for another. It's like after in had a cig, I felt bad, now after I've eaten unnecessarily, I feel bad...

I shall just try a healthier day tomo. If I can, then my chances of keep stopping smoking will be higher.

Hey miki, I would not compare eating with smoking. ... I think is def ok if you stay smoke free. ..... I have found that the longer you are not smoking for the easier it is to make changes elsewhere.... eg I really felt like a coffer this morning and just thought.... I am not smoking and I don't actually need a coffee so why nit just not have one, and save some money at the same time!

I hope your cold will go soon, and as long as you stick with NOPE then I am sure you will get through other things x

Hello to you Miki, I know it's just unbelievable how much we consume in those first few weeks also a very well known side affect of quitting the nico stick,

When your comfy in your quit, it may well just be easier to deal with, but don't worry to much, some healthy home made soups in the fridge are always great to have, just helps the hunger,

Doing fantastic, wishing you a speedy recovery horrid when we just feel unwell,

Absolutely. Really, Miki, try not to worry about it. Someone worked out that you'd have to gain 5 stone (I think) before you would be doing yourself as much harm as you were when you were smoking.

The main thing is that your quit is going from strength to strength and you should be as proud as punch of what you have achieved. :D I hope you get rid of your cold soon (I found I caught loads of colds in the early days of my quit but they didn't settle on my chest for weeks like they used to do) and that you have a good day today.

And your soup sounds delicious by the way! :)
