auf wiedersehen week 2

7 minutes into week 3 and all is good.

I've had a crap week at work, but its been fine on the ciggy front. I'm starting to think some of Allen Carr's wise words might have actually sank into my nicotine addled brain.

Slight concern that has been a little too easy so far, no big cravings, be it I know there will be some tricky times ahead and I am wary.

I do solemnly declare that regardless of what highs or lows may befall me. TONIGHT I will not puff on a cigarette. This is one of the most important decisions I will ever make because the length and quality of my future life critically depend on it. What’s more, I know it’s the correct decision an that I should never even begin to question or to doubt that decision.

Tomorrow I will do my upmost to do and believe the same, taking each day as it comes.

Thanks for that, I worry when its hard, stress when its feels easy (The quit that is):p.

Really I'm quite chuffed, I've used patches, zyban, chewy, inhaler thingys and even a trip to a loopy witchlike hypnotist before (straight the shop when I came out of that) all ended in tears, but so far on Cold Turkey, feels good, like I'm really on it from the off.

Early days, Penthouse a long way off, but embracing the positive vibes and going with the flow.

Well done Andrew- I am a firm believer that when whatever the switch is in your brain flips over, you've cracked it, and I think that's what has happened to you this time. You have every reason to be chuffed and proud of yourself. The Penthouse may be a way off still, but I can already see a suite with your name upon the door and you'll be there, relaxing in that jacuzzi, before you know it.

Have a fantastic weekend mate, and congratulations from me. :D
