Hiya All, aint it amazing the things one finds to do when a non-smoker. I did a few wee odd jobs around the house today to sort out things that needed doing some time ago. Im liking the fact that my DIY is what I like to do and thankfully I'M ABLE to manage. Tomorrow im gonna start painting. Bring it on x

Day 13 is complete. In Day 14 as its after 9pm. Feeling good. Feeling positive. Not long now folks til I come knocking on a new door.

Has anyone noticed their teeth getting whiter?. I sure have. Another positive reason to stay quit.

Lovely.

Breathe free and stay safe

Paula.

Please note I cant edit the title of my thread. The word breathe should read Breath.

Well done on getting to day 14 , don't worry about the thread title, trust me, we all get dyslexic fingers from time to time - personally I always blame autocorrect :p I think finding something to distract you that you actually enjoy, like DIY, is a blessing when quitting - something that occupies the hands and mind is perfect - post pics of the finished room when done ;)

Yay 2 weeks practically done! I noticed my teeth got a lot whiter (shallow as it sounds my teeth and skin were one of the main reasons that I quit, but that motivation worked for me) and they keep getting better the longer you are in to your quit.

Wonderful Paula! Many congratulations on completing your first two weeks. You'll have a month under your belt before you know it. :D

And I agree with you & Kirstie- it's lovely to see your teeth start to whiten before your eyes (not to mention the improvement in your skin, hair & nails).

Why on Earth did we poison ourselves for so long? :o

Well done Paula

Congrats on getting to 14 days. I noticed whiter teeth too but wasn't sure if it was new electric toothbrush/not smoking or combination of both, it's nice though. Skin, hair and nails also look and feel better :)
