Hi all, still hanging on to my quit. A bit happier today.
I have decided not to discuss it with my husband any more as he has no idea and I get the impression he thinks I should be 'over' it by now, a shame really as he's usually lovely, just non smoker attitude I guess.
Have a good day everyone

I totally understand you Nicky, but I also understand your hubby. I would tell you the same a couple of years ago, and I was a smoker at that time! It's because I didn't understand (like your hubby) how serious this addiction is. I always thought "just tough it out for a couple of weeks and it's all gone". Yea, right
There are tons of great videos on whyquit.com , so maybe you should let your hubby watch a couple of them to really see how addictive nicotine is.
I was very lucky in that my husband had quit himself (some years ago) so knew exactly what I was going through. You just come on here anytime you want to shout, scream, give off, eat furniture, bay at the moon, etc, and we shall understand/peel you off the ceiling/join in as appropriate.
Max- thanks for that. I've been wondering for ages how people edit their user title.
I would think we would be over it by now! but I feel more or less the same as did in the 1st week really. I could go out and light up so easily but just have to keep thinking about it and focusing on not doing it! At least everyone on here knows how we feel so keep venting on here and ignore him!
Thanks, you are all lovely people and this forum is helping loads.
Went for a 12km bike ride after work which helped. Went looking for my zero nic ecig earlier to charge it - just in case, thought it might calm me down but couldn't find it and wasn't too fussed about it so I obviously don't really need it anyway.
Max, thanks for the info, when I can think of something to change it to I will
