Thought I would share my last few weeks, I have been told I have a tumour on my ovaries, so I have had to go through all the tests for cancer and just been told I'm clear, having an operation soon to have the thing removed.
my doctor said I was remarkably relaxed during what is rather a very tense time for everyone.....but whilst going through this 'dodgy time' I just kept on thinking 'well if i am strong enough to stop smoking, I'm strong enough to face this'
stopping smoking for me, has changed me in such a positive way, I feel as if I can take on the world, I suffer very little stress, I am so calm, and I'm in a good place right now.
So bring on the op I say....because this girl is a fighter!!!

Sweet, you poor girl. However laid back you were on the surface, I bet you were worried inside. I do hope you've had someone to share it with and haven't had to keep it all to yourself these weeks.
Very, very glad to hear the tumour is benign and I hope it'll be whipped out before you know it. Will you be having keyhole surgery?
Many hugs from me and best wishes for your extremely speedy recovery.
What a scary time for you Sweet, fantastic news that it is benign! Amazing that you coped without feeling the need to smoke - you must be a true 'non-smoker' now

No, Its' rather large....so its' all out I'm afraid, but my baby years have gone, so the best option is to lose the overies I'm afraid....Isn't the NHS amazing!! They have acted so quickly, and have taken the time to sit with me and go through the procedures in detail....I love our health service x
not smoking will help my healing process too....Thankyou for your messages, you are a great bunch of people xxx
