Nothing seems to help today...had chewing gum, kept busy, drinks of waster, brushed my teeth...can't shake it off. So close to my full week (10pm tonight) but really struggling
Day 7 struggling: Nothing seems to help today... - No Smoking Day
Day 7 struggling
Thanks max...am really trying but it's really hard today
Ok this might sound mental but put some music on and sing loud and passionately. It lifts my mood, distracts me and moves me on from craving and thinking about cigs. Fave tunes are even better
Have a random hot bath, lots of smelly stuff and radox. I honestly found distraction best for me.
Val this happens, you will survive this, be strong.
It is soo close to a week for you, you can and will get past this.
I'm not recommending this to others, but I found a nice glass of wine and some chocolate raisins got me through the worst.
Valsy are you still with us? Quit-wise I mean obviously? Post and post and post, you don't yet know how much it helps.....
Thanks guys your support means so much to me..I have my support at home but my partner is not a smoker so it's really hard to explain. I have not smoked today. I don't want to smoke today. I will not smoke today. I will not.
It's like I have schzitsophnia (sorry spelling) the constant fight in my head since I opened my eyes this morning... I'm not going to get thru this, I just want to cry
You can get through this Valsy, seven days is great but it IS early. This will pass I promise you. If you smoke you'll have to go through it all again and you don't want that
It does pass, it dominates every waking thought at first, I know, but it goes away; do what you're doing, post on here. We're with you.

Awwwww that's horrible
We all know the feeling hun, it's like you're constantly fighting with yourself, arguing almost isn't it?
And it seems like whatever happens it won't go away too - *but* it will. Really it will.
Earlier this week I felt exactly like you are now, couldn't think about anything else than smoking and to be totally honest I'd rolled over and was waiting for the inevitable. But, it gets better, I got out the other side and while I still crave it's *nothing* like as bad!!
Hang in there, you can get through this and when you do it's so good
Have a damn good cry - I did - rant, rave, post on here, play daft games, listen to loud music, anything that makes you feel good to avoid smoking.
Everyone says it but if I can stop, anyone can!!
Have a (((hug)))
Made it to 10pm..have officially not smoked for 7 days..THANK YOU so much for all your thought and support today it has been a rough one but I have made it through with your help!! See you all tomorrow for what will be a better day x

Oh seriously well done, so pleased you made it. I didn't post earlier as you were getting so much good advice and I didn't want to risk saying the wrong thing. (I'm new at this posting game) my thoughts were with you though and I was willing you to get through it.
Week 1 is truly awful.
Hope you feel better tomorrow and start looking forward to your next milestone.... 10days double figures.
Off to buy myself a little treat today for getting to 1 week smoke free!!!:):)
Don't blame you, enjoy!

That's the ticket!!
I bought myself a new dress when I reached Day 7. I felt so happy that I had purchased a garment that would NEVER smell of smoke.
Well done Valsy- many, many congratulations from me
