There is bridge re-inforcement work being done about 50 yards away from our offices, at the moment they are using, what looks like, a giant guillotine with a huge block of metal instead of a blade, to hammer the worlds largest RSJ's into the muddy riverbed below- The noise and vibration are off the scale - the hammering is like the loudest clock tick you've ever heard and the vibration is sow low it hurts your head even more, you can feel it in your jaw - I've never known anything like it. I can only describe it as torture - Me thinks one will be enjoying a rather large glass of plonk tonight - if I survive the afternoon without a migrane that is :mad::mad:
I am about to explode: There is bridge re... - No Smoking Day
I am about to explode
Oh wow that sounds horrible!!
Loud noises are evil for setting off migraines, especially annoying noises - I can feel my bran winding itself up for one sometimes.
HOpe you survive OK
Ahhhhhhhh, it has been quiet for five minutes - I'm hoping they follow the poets day rule

Ooh the people in the house opposite me have got parrots, I *think* they're teaching them to talk, and a pair of lovebirds.

Do u let them out in the garden for a run around x
I should have said - No they're too scared of the lawnmower
