Right I just want to get this off my chest once and for all as I have noticed replies to my posts are a bit frosty from some people... most peoples profiles are open and on looking at a few I can see that messages have been left saying " a couple of members dont count anyway" " they dont matter" etc, things along those lines, that is really not very nice at all.
I am not a horrible person far from it in fact, but I am struggling so badly with this quit and if I dont agree with someones opinion then I feel I should be able to say that on here, freely and without judgement just as anyone else should be allowed to.
Just because I dont socailise with people outside the forum or am on first name terms with poeple doesnt mean I dont want to make friends on here because I really do.
For the love of god can we just draw a line under it now, Christmas is nearly here, the season of goodwill and all that! we are all here for the same reason and should all be treated as equals xx

Hello DonnaJ sorry to learn that your a bit miffed with other peoples opinions. Please don't take them to heart I'm sure they were given without malice.
One of the greatest assets of opinions is that they're merely opinions they don't carry any weight/substance, they are as I said early merely opinions and perhaps more importantly we are all entitled to your opinion
So best wishes with your quit whatever method your using. It's the end result which is more important not how you get there.
I'm afraid I don't really know what you are referring to. But regardless try not to take things personally and hang on to your quit. Hang on in there.

It is becoming unbearably hard to hang on to my quit I may take a break from this forum and go it alone and see how I fare it can only go one of 2 ways x
I suppose if we are honest we would all say we have noticed a tension around the forum generally of late so I think I empathise with where Donna is coming from. Then again, a forum full of people all trying to quit smoking is probably the number one recipe for such a tension and some hot air.
If everyone draws a line under all previous threads, like they have been locked, we can all start some new happier ones with the sole intention of helping each other. Joining in some games or quizzes also helps a lot in building bridges and establishing a friendly rapport with other members.

I hope you do stay around Donna, this forum is a wonderful quit aid and I am sure the dust will settle after this little spat.There are some very wise people on this forum who can help you stay quit with support and advice, much better than going it alone
Things are always harder when you feel alone. Stay around, a problem shared etc. Now that I'm a celeb Lucy has gone from our screens I may need your help in finding another smoker to stare at like a rabbit in headlights!
Goodness me I am having no problem in finding people to stare at on tv smoking it seems to be everywhere I look! I think I have a radar I tune in to all the programmes where they are having a satisfying cigarette lol
