Hey, I'm on day 10 or 11 (trying not to focus on counting just being happy I'm free!
Why do the cravings seem to come more often at the weekends?? Probably as this is this our relaxing time! I've been fine all week but noticed more triggers last weekend and this. In saying that they haven't been bad, I know i don't want to go there but I just have this feeling like I'm missing out on something and it's actually very annoying cos I'm stuffing my face instead
Rant over, Ahh that feels better

You're not missing out on anything, smoking is an expensive and stinky way to commit suicide
Think you tend to crave more when you have more time to yourself - but if this helps: I used to really love smoking, never thought I'd stop (nor did anyone who knows me) but i have and after spending an afternoon with my friends inclusing a couple of smokers I definitely didn't want a fag!! That's not a brag, just meant to show it does get better
Thanks Gemma! I think sometimes we just need that reassurance that it does get easier! My hubby is still smoking although he's cut down a lot since I stopped, but when he comes in after a smoke the smell it terrible so that also helps me plus hubby wants to stop and keeps telling me how proud he is of me
Just wish this little feeling of 'needing something' would pass! If I ignore it and stop giving it power it will !!

That's fab that he wants to stop - deep down all smokers do but try getting them to admit it!!
It's good you hate the smell too, we never noticed how vile it is when we smoked did we?
Lovely your hubby is supporting you and wants to join you as well
Since I've quit I've never found anyone who says "I wish I'd never quit" (except people who are in the middle of doing it and having a bad day) but lots of smokers who say they wish they had/could quit!!
Think it's in someone's signature here "It's better to wish you could smoke sometimes than to wish you didn't smoke all the time"
