xxx
Well done your doing great
Thankyou gorgeous people,
Had a funny kinda day, craves creeping in when I least expected it...but blew them away, I was looking at my non-smoking colleagues today and thought to myself..they feel 'normal' all of the time, they don't need a fix to 'steady their nerves' or to stop a 'crave'
I am so angry with myself that I have put my mind and body through this, If I had been a non-smoker I would be that 'feeling normal person' too! How frustrating...I wonder if I will ever get to the point when I feel 'normal'
I know its early days..but when does that...'normal I'm a non smoker feeling' come?...or does it ever come as an ex-addict to nicotine?
It would be nice to have a response from some-one who stopped 5-10 years ago to tell me that it does happen!
Love to you all x
Irritating isn't it?
You have got exactly the right thought though, nobody "needs" a fag to make them feel OK, it only makes you feel OK 'cos of being an addict :/
One of my friends stopped around 5 years ago now, she said a while ago that she gets the odd fancy for a fag but that's it, just a quick thought - most of the time she doesn't think abotu smoking at all, even with smokers.
Thats good to know Gemma-lou x
Get in there, indeed, SweetB!
You must be feeling so good about what you have achieved. If you think back to those first few days.......would you have thought this was possible?
A big WELL DONE from me!
Val
