We have discussed what we would/will do with extra money..but I was thinking -
What do you do with all that extra time ?
I'm am talking about the time we actually spent smoking !
For instance, myself - before I done any menial task around the house I'd of course have a fag ! Cutting out all the time spent smoking I find I have so much time!
But in the process have gained an annoying habit of keep putting tasks off !
What do you do ?

I have a lot more time on my hands now that I'm not smoking. I used to play games on my phone while having a smoke (like candy crush or song pop ). Since I've stopped smoking I am not as addicted to those games either - funny that!
Back in December I smoked 20+ a day - no more than 30 'cos it hurt my mouth too much - and the time has vanished, along with the money.
:confused::confused::confused:
I miss the extra "me time" to an extent, but don't miss speed=smoking when I was meant to be working or diving out for one in the advrts when I was watching a programme on TV.
:)It's funny you bring this up - because I notice the extra time on my hands more then I do the extra money. I have taken up cooking! I never use to cook - but I found it keeps me occupied when I get home from work. My better half does not get home from work until a few hours - so I needed to find something to fill my idle time.

I am still playing that stupid candy crush game. Not sure how I got all wrapped up into that. Now that my friend is a waste of time!

This is a great question.
Work related time (one break in the morning, one in the afternoon, both spent smoking) is now spent having coffee with a colleague. I still get away from my desk for a few minutes, but socialise instead of standing outside (sometimes in the freezing cold) pleasing my nicotine demon.
I've always been a big fan of "me time" at home, so that hasn't really changed, but I seem to have become a lot more motivated in the last few months (maybe a combination of stopping smoking and the nicer weather we've had?) so I tend to get more done at a weekend and in the evenings.
It is interesting though because in the beginning I didn't and couldn't concentrate on anything around the home because of the routine fags, but am so pleased to say I am over that now.
My other half is a non smoker and always has been and he commented on how nice is it not to be -
Ushered away quickly after a restaurant meal
Waiting outside airports so I could get as many in as poss
Suffer abroad the smoking bars
Waiting an extra 5 mins before any car journeys so I could smoke
In fact he said he was Always Waiting lol so he has noticed a big difference
Only now am I beginning to feel free and I like it, never did I think in a million years that would be me but I have done it
Also wanted to add a Big Massive Point for me is that I Am MORE CALMER !
Without a doubt and it is just is just so nice.
So if you have just started your quit you have all this to look forward to too
