I know I haven't been posting that often but that's more to do with the server at work allowing me to start a thread but not to reply to it.
I am building up to another attempt. I have decided to combine patches with e-cig. Both of these have enabled me to cut down at various stages so I hope that the 2 together will allow me to finally get free. The great thing is that I can alter the dosage as I go to reduce them at a speed I am comfortable with.
I also have my quit date picked out but I am not going to share it. I will post at some point in my first week but don't plan to do this straight away as I find it buts an added pressure on me (most of the people on this forum are doing so well - I have followed a few people that I am incredibly proud off, but I won't name names lol) and I want to have a nice, peaceful quit. I will not let any of my friends or family know either as I want to see how long it takes for them to notice. I know that I won't be alone because the fantastic advice being shared on the forum on a daily basis will help me through the initial first couple of days.
At this stage I would ask that all on this forum wish me luck and I look forward to sharing the joy with you all very soon. And I can't wait to get back to helping others on their quit journey.

Wishing you the best of luck Mark. Just keep quitting and one of them will stick, that I know for sure.
You were one of the first I noticed on this forum doing your quit when I first came on and your post were very inspiring for me at the start of my quit so I'm hoping you get your sticky one soon Mark.
Take it easy, do it your way and it'll work. Well done on facing this monster again.
It's great to see that the support is still here. I look forward to once again being in the position to offer support to others. I know it's a hard journey but this forum was invaluable to me last time I had a serious quit. I have seen some people who I am familiar with and some who I look forward to getting to know better. My quit date is approaching and I look forward to extinguishing the final cigarette and embarking on what will be my last ever quit.
Hello, Mark. I'm new here and my quit date is 30th August. There are so many success stories on here that show that quitting is do-able, so ofcourse you can do it (as can I!) and I am rooting for you to succeed.
GOOD LUCK, MARK! Pop in here every day to keep us all informed about how well you are doing and you will get so much support.
