As the title suggests I'm new to the forum, and wanted to say hi. I've been lurking as a guest since yesterday (my day 1) and decided to take the plunge and actually join and post. I'm hoping things will keep getting easier, and I will soon stop feeling like the grumpy b*^#h from hell.
Take care

You've made 2 great decisions, stopping smoking and joining here - there's loads of fab people on here who will help you, know I'd be smoking my lungs black again if it wasn't for this place
Are you going cold turkey or using some NRT?
Anyway, good luck and please post on here whenever you like 'cos it definitely helps to get your feelings out - we've all been through it or are going through it so we can guide you through
Hi I was at your stage nearly a month ago apprehensive! Now especially this last week I hardly think about it, and I am feeling great I am still following the course of Champix and I am sure it's been a big factor helping me to become a non-smoker! So good luck to you because to get rid of something that is trying to kill you and before that make you very ill deserves all the luck in the World.
PS I have saved £163.80p towards a new 60 inch Television
Gemma - I'm using NRT, the mini lozenges, have tried and failed miserably using CT, so decided to use some support this time.
Think that's a good idea
It helps you get used to not smoking and gets you off the nicotine easier than CT - only time I managed that was with the throat infection of doom
