Day 36

Today is day 36 of my quit and until recently I haven't really suffered any side effects. However over the last two or three days I've had quite a sore throat. I'm not sure if this is related to my quit or not. Has anyone else suffered side effects this far in? I would have thought that these are usually suffered in the first week.

I suffered loads of stuff from my throat & chest...it started around the 5th week & is only really starting to clear up now. But go to the Docs, just to be on the safe side

I got a nasty cold at about 4 weeks that lasted around 5 days. And as you say Debbie, it really did feel like my body was just expelling the nastiness of smoking. The same thing happened to me last year somewhere around 5 weeks. I think it's pretty normal to go through a little bit of a weak phase becasue of all the stress that quitting smoking puts on the body and mind. Great job getting this far! I've pretty much stopped counting the days and have started focusing more on the future.
