You did not smoke for : 365 days 20 hours,45 mins - this must be the fastest year in my life .
Cigarettes I did not smoke: 7317 - Blimey. Too scared to multiply that out by the years I smoked
You saved: £2612.27 -wow! Expensive way to make yourself ill.
A very HUGE Thank you to everyone who has given me the most wonderful support on this forum. THANK YOU.
To those just embarking on this journey. You will have some grim days in the early days and then just great days. It is just so worth it not to have to be trooping outside like a leper; not to stink to high heaven of the most revolting smell ; to get your sense of taste and smell back; not to be paying oodles of tax to this government and to feel good about yourself and what you have achieved and to feel well:)) So please , please stick with it.

'Ere....follow me and I'll show you the library. Look! Look! Is that...... or is that not.....a library? If you climb that ladder over there....i'll slide it along a bit and you'll find a first edition copy of Vanity Fair. 24th shelf up.....57th book in, I believe.
If, however, you fancy a livelier kind of celebration.....I hear that a gentle push on the 56th book in opens up a...................
Thanks, Dippy and Una. I just did not think I could do it , and I despaired of my self and my lack of motivation to even make an attempt. So if I can do it, believe me, anyone can. x
Thanks very much Carol, Netti and Max. Cannot believe how the year has flown.
Just got the choc and midget gem weight to get rid of now before November and keep it off till January. Both my kids are getting married :D .
Finding decent Mother of the Bride / Groom stuff that does not look like sommat Widow T****ey would wear in Aladdin is gonna be harder than quitting the cigs, I reckon
Welcome to the Penthouse Becky! Congratulations on your one year quit and I did not doubt you for a minute. You have had a turbulent year to say the least so very well done to you.xxx
Couldn't be happier for you. Enjoy the 2 weddings coming up and don't worry about the weight you will lose that with your determination, you can do anything and I am sure your kids are just happy you don't smoke, I know mine are.xxx
Yes the year has had some very very difficult events but a huge lesson for me from all that is that smoking does absolutely nowt to help, even though we might fool ourselves that it does.
Yes my kids are just overjoyed that I have stopped. When you think logically about it all, it's nowt but a ****** drag isn't it? - worrying that you might run out, worrying if you'll be able to get outside somewhere to have one , worrying in case you smell of it, you always do BTW!! So much freedom without it. XX
Those asterisks are for the blood y word BTW. That's two asterisked words in one day! How sensitive the filter is that it even looks for bad words inside words!
Brilliant news Becky it certainly encourages me! As the saying goes success breeds success. I will be joining you in the Penthouse in 11 months and two weeks.
Thanks, Molly. Ah JB. Yes, when I opened the door there he was , so it was good of you to organise that for me, darlin xxx I shall return the favour when it's your turn. xxx
Hi Rex, nice to meet you and thank you for your kind words. You will do this and there will be loads of us waiting for you in the penthouse. Just let the time pass as it will. It's flown by for me I must say. Do what you have to do to stay smoke free, and use all the good advice from the lovely people on this forum. So we have a date for 11 months and 2 weeks?? x
