How is everyone doing at the moment? I went out drinking last night and didn't even want a fag which is progress! (Had to stay away from outside smokers just to be on safe side though). Woke up this morning and felt pretty fresh and not like an ashtray which I'm sill enjoying.
Are other people starting to find they are thinking about smoking less?

Hiya Kim
That is fantastic, huge well done!!
When you can drink without wanting a fag it's real progress
And you definitely feel a load better the next morning!!
Not having those horrible hangovers where you feel like someone is standing on your chest is a HUGE plus to not smoking! Sounds like you are doing fantastic Kim!
I've learnt that if you want to achieve something you have to believe you can do it and then it's a whole lot easier. I was at a comedy thing last night and smokers kept leaving at random points and for the first time ever I felt sorry for them having to go out into the rain rather than enjoy the evening all the way through and the fact they are killing themselves all in the name of pleasure.
I gave a smoking friend my Allen Carr book and she said she found it interesting so I think all smokers should be passed a copy no pressure and see if they can still go through life ignoring the massive elephant in the room. Feel kinda angry with myself that when I smoked I always said it was my choice and I wanted to do it when really I was just a dirty addict.
Im also finding that im not thinking about cigarettes as much.
I went to the paper shop at the end of the road yesterday and it was the first time I thought about cigarettes in ages. I thought yeay I dont have to ask for any, and it felt gooood

If one of my friends gets their baccy out I automatically find myself fixated on the packet, I don't want one but it's something I've always had in my possession for years that I don't see much anymore. It's a weird feeling, like its trying to entice me. Have you ever felt like that?
