I've had a tough time with the craves, too, & remembering my last quits, they do pop up for quite a while but what I've found from experience is that the further into the quit you are, the more you can cope because you are more mentally capable of dealing with them...& therein lies the key...where your head is. My quit's been a bit rough this time as I wasn't sure how dedicated I was to it...I just thought I'd give the E cigs a go one day & each time a crave came, I said to myself, 'Push it just that bit further' Now I'm 6 weeks into it, I gave up the E cigs after just a short time but the further I've gone, the more determined I have become, even though I wasn't particularly wanting to quit at the time & that's because I made my mind up after the initial withdrawal. My head's in the right place &, although I'm no Stepford Wife or Ma Walton, I am improving & tend to flick those craves & the raves away. I'm aware that they're going to crop up, sometimes pretty intense, but I can & will kick them into touch as can you....hang in there, froth at the mouth, scream into a pillow if you have to but it will pass!
