....& the emotions seem to have settled, as have the cravings....AND the fat! My chest is still tight but hopefully that will pass too. My dreams are still incredibly intense but am waiting for some Rhodiola to arrive which is a natural supplement, supposed to help this & all of the above. I'll keep you posted on that! ;)

Well done Sophie! It's great when you can finally start to see some of the improvements, isn't it? :)

I have also found that my chest can still be quite tight and I seem to get breathless still, but we have caused a lot of damage to ourselves so I suppose all of the goodness won't happen overnight!

Keep up the hard work hun, you're doing great! :D x

WOOOHOOOOO......on top of the 6 week mark, after kakking myself, big stylee, about the dentist & a 6 year gap of going...all I need is ONE, yes, just one filling to be repaired! Result! Especially as I was thinking that if I needed a lot done, I'd fall back to cigs.

As for the timeline...the last time I quit, I had a heart attack in the 8th week! The Cardiologist & the doctors actually said that cigarette smoking wasn't half so much of a contributing factor to heart attacks, but drinking was considered worse! Needless to say, after all of that, at 6 months, I gave up the quit. This time round, it's not just cigs that have been thrown out...after my initial quit got shaky, I found myself drinking heavily so that's gone now too...I make my own wine so it's been too easy for me to keep drinking. Now, I just keep it for weekends, not massive amounts, just a couple of glasses. Now...if I could just find something that would make my bl00dy arthritis disappear so I could exercise like I used to be able to....or just simply able to exercise at all...that would be fantastic! Guess 2 out of 3 ain't bad!

I'm seriously phobic about dentists (as are most right thinking people)...at least you're half way through the crown process which means you've probably had the worst bit over & done with. My poor husband has got an ENORMOUS amount of work to be done, including a deep root clean (I don't even want to attempt to speculate what that's about, thank you!) & a couple of extractions...all because he was lax in cleaning his teeth. He won't be from now on in, poor sod!
