...and it's going well. The feeling of doom & gloom has lifted a bit, my cough seems to be easing up & i've now got a week off to relax & enjoy the Newcastle sunshine... (i'm sure the sun's up there somewhere?)

Hopefully the hardest part is behind me now, i rarely have cravings & if i do they're not bad ones. Alcohol is my big trigger so i'm building up slowly with a few drinks here & there, nothing too extreme just yet.

I have an e-cig as a last resort for nights out, so i've had no temptation to use it & i'm hoping that'll continue. One thing's certain though, a real cigarette is out of the question.

The feeling of freedom is so much better than having to constantly feed that utterly pointless addiction.

It really is Max. My time & money are my own now, no more wasting either on slowly killing myself. No more panicky feelings because i don't have enough smokes to last the day, or i've forgot my lighter.

Just fresh air & freedom.
