Still here after two calendar months free from nicotine. I am visiting family in UK this week so haven't had time to post. see everyone is still going strong too. Had a bit of a struggle at the airport, nervous flyer so normally have a few before I go through security but once through I realised I was no more nervous than normal so did not need cigs to keep me calm. Back to sunny Spain on Saturday so will have time to catch up on everyone's posts.

Good times Jeannie :D

I used to have a few fags before flying too, will be nice not to have to look for the sad smokers pit at the airport in future.:D

2 months is serious quit time, keep it up!

Ahhh, the pit of doom. From the outside it must look like a group of caged animals and there are clouds of smoke everywhere. Since the ban in 2007 I'd always been the type of smoker to light up outside, no matter where I was, so having to stand in thick clouds of smoke was horrible. But I would ALWAYS crave at an airport, so that was the only option!

How nice that we never have to do that again :)

Well done on going 2 months!!

That's brilliant, and for realising smoking doesn't calm you down 'cos it's true :)

It's like that everywhere you can't smoke - used to call it Leper's Corner here 'cos it felt like it.

Anywhere I knew I wasn't going to be allowed ot smoke made me "load up" before going in, even if I didn't fancy one.

Ew It's bad enough choosing to smoke, let alone choosing to stuff yourself full of as many as possible when you don't even want one. Lol.

What I dislike is seeing those parents who smoke furiously in their cars while the kids rattle about in the back without seat belts on.

You can just smell the stink and foulness inside the car, those poor kids are powerless to do anything about it.It is odd too, that quite often the driver is a woman who looks remarkably like Waynetta Slob :D

That really p***es me off.

There was a family over the road from me and the mum smoked. She would be standing outside talking to her neighbour for long enough to smoke several fags then get the kids in the car and light up - to drive them to school 5 minutes away  and as she was a SAHM she should have walked them there!!

And yes she did look like Waynetta!!

Not what you're looking for?
