Made it through day 3!!! Can't believe it really? Been on the fags for 25 years, 20 a day, never even gone a few hours let alone days without one! Don't want to sound too big headed but this is a major thing for me, just been doing the mr whippy victory dance around the lounge

Haha! Thanks, I have been working from home for the last 2 days too, so temptation is just on the corner as that's where the fag shop is! But been ok, cravings are quite bad but it's true when they say they pass! Can't wait til it's been a whole week

Well done Nick! Doesn't it feel great to know that you can get through the day without cigs! Getting over the fear of not having any cigs in the house was the most empowering thing I ever felt - it's like walking out a prison you didn't even realise you were trapped in and finding out just how great life is on the outside

Keep at it, the days will soon turn into weeks and you keep feeling better and better.

Thanks all, it feels great that I'm in charge now! That was one of my reasons for quitting, I was p'd off with being controlled by when I could have my next fix? Also, being self employed, I don't get a regular salary, so all that money I was spending was coming out of hubbies hard earned, felt guilty. No more though, determined that is it now!

No, I'm sure i'll be fine, just as everyone else here has made it!

Been ok so far today, and no patch on!! Just a couple of mouthfulls of the electronic cig today, going to leave the patches for a few days I think?
