Day 8 what a result!

Feeling fab to be into my second week. Went to the supermarket to spoil myself to flowers, sushi and nice hand cream. Also needed some patches so was disappointed to find they had a limited range. I wanted to move on to step 1 but as a 16 hour patch. The 24 hour ones are causing sleep probs for me. I asked at the pharmacy counter and before I knew it, I was agreeing to sign up to the quit program they run. I had a co2 test with good results and came away with the patches I wanted on prescription which was a third of the price if I'd bought them over the counter. I have to go back 2 more times when I'll be given enough patches to see me through 8 weeks. This is a great idea for anyone who wants to use patches but is put off by the cost.

So all tickety-boo here. Helps that its a beautifully sunny day and my kids have gone back to school after half term. I'm back to work tomorrow but for now I'm enjoying the peace.
