Oh Hels! I may not have known you long but I do think you're a rather fabulous person
Many thanks for the encouragement. I CAN do this. And I bloody well intend to! One hour at a time for now. Baby steps.
Welcome back!! I've been waiting for you. Yes you can and will do this!! Enjoy your new life, its gonna be fab!
Thanks so much.
Have just realised there is a 'thumbs down' in the title of my previous post. Have no idea why! Am assuming I must have put it there, but it was accidental.
Thanks so much.

Have a thumbs up from me then! Have courage, be strong, quit for good
Thank youuuuu!
I got a couple of little jobs done this morning but have spent the entire afternoon on the sofa, intermittently snoozing, reading and eating.
Hi Rachel, how is it going.
Both of us on day one so that's a good start, keep it up Rachel we can do this.

Glad you have smoked your last cigarette newleaf! You have come to the right place for support and encouragement that is for sure!
You are so, so kind.
Thank you Kat, that's lovely. Hope you're doing ok.
Hello Joan, how's today going for you? Hell yes, we can do this
I have had a pretty nice day really. I've had a couple of moments where a red mist of rage descended a little, but they were thankfully short-lived.
My husband has been absolutely brilliant today. He has tolerated my occasional snappiness and has allowed me to sleep on the sofa while he fetched our children from school and took them to and from after school activities. He has also given me a card, flowers and present (we don't normally 'do' Valentine's Day) and has cooked me a lovely two-course dinner. He is absolutely one in a million and I don't know how I got quite so lucky.
So. Not too much of Day 1 left. Just hoping I'll sleep reasonably ok, and then bring on Day 2
Thank you so much all for your wonderful support.
