If you smoke now, you throw away everything you've achieved in the last week. You want to quit, but you'll have to start all over again.

If you DON'T smoke now, I guarantee you that this feeling WILL go away, and you will be further along and stronger in your quit.

It's as simple as this: do you want this thing to control you? Do you want to be free of this addiction? Do you want to stop worrying about what it's doing to your health? Do you want to stop spending money on poison?

Then right here, right now, you have to pull yourself together and choose not to smoke. It's as simple as that.

There are all sorts of things you can do to distract yourself. Take a shower. Go for a walk. Play a computer game. Read a book. Eat. Do some exercise. Dance. Sleep. Bake a cake. Anything - whatever gets you through the next hour.

Every crave passes, and as long as you don't feed your addiction it will get weaker and weaker, I promise you.

You CAN do this!

I did hold on for some time and the feeling did pass on after i had lunch. Until then, my hands were trembling and felt miserable. I am sure this will hit me again and i hope i will have the same strength next time. I am sure i am gonna panic and gasp, and i hope there are people out there to simply hold my hands, when i do- i am in a situation where i actually don't have too much help offline. Thanks both of you.

have you considered getting some help, Patches or gum, theres nothing wrong in getting a little help at first, think about it, Im on patches and though I still get craves and bad days I do find they help , good luck and hang on in there !:)
