I haven't been back on the forum for a few months now but mainly because not being a smoker is well and truly embedded in my life, I very very rarely think about smoking or being an ex smoker, to be honest this is a feeling that I didn't think was possible.
So to all you people out there who have only just started on the road to recovery rest assured that once you get through the first 3-6 months you will be feeling much much better.
Keep up the good work everyone because long term it really is worth it.

Well done on 14 months Mark, that is excellent and the fact you dont think about smoking now is even better, that is what I strive for. That is a successful quit
My "quit-twin" Francob.. Nice to hear from you on here..
I can only echo what you said..We quit the same day, with the same method, and got the same result.
Still get the occassional "quick fag would be nice now" on a night out, or when in certain company, but it's not even anything like the "voices in your head" from almost 16 months ago now..
Great to see you sticking to it.. And how's your marathon training coming along?
